Haunted house- a horror story
On the edge of a silent village stood an old mansion that everyone feared. The house had broken windows, dark walls, and a rusty gate that creaked loudly whenever the wind blew. People called it the “Black House.” No one dared to enter after sunset because strange sounds were often heard from inside.
One rainy night, four friends decided to explore the haunted mansion. They carried flashlights and slowly pushed open the heavy wooden door. Dust filled the air, and spider webs covered the ceiling. As they walked deeper into the house, the door suddenly slammed shut behind them.
“Did you hear that?” Rahul whispered nervously.
A cold wind moved through the hallway even though all the windows were closed. Suddenly, they heard footsteps upstairs. Step… step… step…
The friends gathered together and slowly climbed the staircase. Their flashlights flickered as if someone was draining the batteries. At the end of the corridor, they saw a little girl standing in a white dress. Her long black hair covered her face.
“Who are you?” one of them asked.
The girl slowly lifted her head. Her eyes were completely black.
The lights went out instantly.
The friends screamed and ran downstairs, but the front door would not open. Then they heard loud laughter echoing through the mansion. One friend looked back and saw the ghost girl standing right behind them.
Suddenly, all the lights turned on by themselves. The walls were covered with strange handprints, and a message appeared in red:
“YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE COME HERE.”
